proLOGiT has been awarded a contract for the "Rail IT" project tendered by railway company boxXpress.de, Hamburg. The project has been divided into three phases. In phase 1 engine and staff management will be implemented, the resource planning system LocoPlan will be integrated into the existing tranport order management system boxXbase. Secondly, wagon- and incident management will be realized. Finally, among other extensions, the process of ordering tracks from an infrastructure provider will be automized, as well as the exchange of statusinformation and services with customers and partners.
